"Obedience is central to becoming, being, and remaining happy."
-David A. Bednar
To me this quote means that obedience is the heart or foundation to happiness. In order for us to be happy and proud of yourself you first must learn to be obedient. If we know we are obedient and do the right things then we wont have to worry about getting bad consequences because we'll just be happy.

"The more obedient we are, the more freedom we have."
- Boyd K. Packer
To me this quote means that we can have more freedom if we become obedient. The more we listen and the more good that we do, the more good that we are going to get in return. for example people who are in jail have less freedom because they weren't obedient. If we are more obedient we will never get in trouble and have freedom.
