Acupuncture

Duties and Responsibilities:
An acupuncturist is a health practitioner who takes a holistic approach to the maintenance of health and the management of disease, with a focus on improving overall wellbeing. Acupuncture is an ancient Chinese holistic therapy based on the theory that the body depends on life energy, known as qi, being in balance. Acupuncturists correct imbalances in the body by inserting fine needles into acupuncture points, thus maintaining or restoring good health and wellbeing.

Salary: 37,000 - $90,000

Education:
To become an acupuncture you must take challenging class in physiology, anatomy, and  many areas in science. Education and training in acupuncture takes several years. Acupuncturists undergo training in a number of different areas, including acupuncture treatment, clinical acupuncture, diagnosis and evaluation, needle placement, stimulation techniques, and sterilization procedures.


Reflection: I think being an Acupuncture is a really difficult job to obtain but, it looks like a good career. I dont think i would like to do that.

Courage

Courage:the quality of mind or spirit that enables a person to face difficulty, danger, pain, etc., without fear; bravery.

Example: Many soldiers are full of courage because they fight for out country and they fight for our safety as a nation. They risk their lives for us and the country.

To me this quote is telling us that in order for you to be an honorable person you have to fulfill your responsibilities. I agree with this quote because if you don't do this you will not have a clear mind because you will be thinking about the thing you have to do. For example one time my mom told me to go buy her something at the market and i didn't and the whole day i was just thinking weather she was going to get mad or not.

Orthodontist

Duties & Responsibilities:
An Orthodontist works with patients to improve their functions with their teeth and jaws. They examine the patients dental records and they do X-rays to determine what kind or where the issues is. They also look for the best treatments and plans and they fir braces into the patients, retainers and other dental appliances.

Salary: $84,000 - $150,000

Education:
To become an Orthodontists you must go to a 4 year dental school. You should also take classes on anatomy, physiology and microbiology.


Reflection:
 I think it is interesting to become an orthodontists. but a lot of education is also required.

To me this quote means that we should feel good if we fail knowing that we put all of our effort in it than to to win something by cheating or not doing the proper thing. That us dishonorable because you didnt win by rule.



Oral Care Professional


Duties & Responsibilities:
An oral care professional or a dental hygienists help patients out with there dental problems. they also work together with dentists to meet the oral health needs of a patient. Some of the things they are responsible for are taking dental x-rays, they remove calculus and plaque from teeth and counsel patients about good nutrition and its impact on oral health.

Salary: $51,000 - $84,000

Education:
Dental hygienists typically complete a two-year dental program to satisfy all state requirements. This program is offered through many community colleges and technical colleges. It's important to note that there are dental hygiene programs at universities that are four years in length. This gives the student a bachelor's degree in the field and opens up the opportunities on a broader base. A two year degree is ideal if the student is only interested in working at a private dental office and working on patients. The two year program awards students an associate's degree in the field.



Reflection: I dont think i would like to become a Oral care professional.

What this statement is saying is that your mind can control everything you do and can do. The mind is very creative it can think of things you probably never imagined. I think that in this quote the term color stands for what the mind can apply to any situation just with a little thought and creativity.
