Health Sciences Librarian


Duties and Responsibilities:

Health Sciences Librarians collect medical information and they help the practitioners find the information they need for patient care, education, and administration. They select acquire books, journals and other library material. They organize their information into collections and develop catalogs for access. Health Sciences Librarians also assist librarians and organize books in their shelves.

Average Salary: $35,000 - $55,000

Educational Requirements:


Health Sciences Librarian should take the most challenging high courses in information management, science, math, and English. They should earn a undergraduate degree and must earn a master's degree in library science from a program that is accredited by the American Library Association.

Reflection:

I don't think I would like to a Health Sciences Librarian because it doesn't catch my attention.
