"I wasn't trying to leave a legacy. I was trying to do what was right."
-Dean Smith

To me this quote is sayin that we shouldn't do things just to have fame or to have good recognition. As long as we do what we know is right, we'll have our own legacy within us. For example, Dean Smith didn't make that basketball team win ll those championships just because he wanted to leave a legacy, he did it because he wanted to do what was right for that team and he did.

To me this quote is saying that if you dont you put your heart into education, you won't get any education at all. Its like when they say, if you do something you like or love you're never going to get tired of it. In order to get a good education you need to put your heart into it.

If we always choose the write we will always do the right things, and have a lot of positive things benefiting us. "It's better to be alone than to be in bad company."

To me this quote is saying the truth. It is saying that you're better off alone then around bad people. If you are in a situation where you know something is wrong and you are around a group of people, you are more likely to too something bad because of all the peer presure you are going to have. "You cannot do wrong and feel right. It is impossible."
- Ezra T. Benson

To me this quote is trying to say that you should never do something that is wrong and then try to feel good about it. It is impossible because if you know you did something wrong then yur going to feel bad about what youy did, you're not going to feel good or right about it. For example, lets say I'm doing bad in my classes and getting bad grades, I am not going to be proud of myself because of that, I am going to to feel bad because I know im not doing right.

-Woodrow Wilson

"The right way is not always the popular and easy way. Standing for right when it is unpopular is a true test or moral character."
-Margaret Chase Smith

To me this quote means that sometime people are doing things or know of things that are negative or bad, if you don't do it with them they will prabably reject you or embarrass you. If you know something is bad, let them know how you feel about what they are going to do. For example i knew some kid who was a really good kid, just that he would hang out with the wrong crowd, and one day they wanted to go rob a store and they the kid to go with them. the kids who wanted to jack were so call "popular" but in reality nobody liked them. My Experience At HPIAM

“My Experience So Far At HPIAM”

So far my experiences here at HPIAM have been great. I have learned a lot in these years, which I am very thankful for. My classes are fun and every day I’m getting better on my skills. This is my last year here, I’m trying to make this the best year and have good memories that I won’t forget. This year I join SRLA to run the LA Marathon on March 9, 2014. All my teachers have been good and I respect them to get the same respect back. It is good getting along with all your teachers because it makes school easier and more fun. Most of the classes I taken here at HPIAM are Honor classes, which makes me feel good because I know it’s going to look good on me when I apply to colleges. I have also had some bad experiences, for example they didn’t tell me I was supposed to make up Chemistry B or Algebra 2B last year, they barley told me this year. I didn’t like this because they don’t offer these classes in adult school. Now I’m taking these classes, and I don’t really like it because they took away my tutoring periods and now I have more classes with more work and it’s too much work that I get that sometimes I forget some assignments for other classes. I do the best I can to keep up with all my classes, I just want to keep the same GPA that I have or higher. But yet I have had a great experience here at HPIAM other than that. I would like for this experience to change, but to change in a way where it gets better.

"There is no justification ever for choosing any part of what you know to be evil."
-Ayn Rand

What this quote is trying to say is that we are responsible for ourselves and we ahould know better from what is wrong or good. Its saying that there is no excuse for us chosing something to do that is wrong or evil, because we already know the consequences its going to have. For example, if we do something bad, we can't have an excuse for what we did because we already knew it was going to be bad and we chose to do wrong. I had a personal experience, because my friend had told me he wasn't going to do his homework because he didn't like the teacher, and I told him to do it and he didn't listen. Because of that He Failed the class, and he realized what he did was wrong and he accepted it.

The Sting of the Scorpion

Reflection:
What I learn from this video is that we always have to make sure we choose the right. Even if we think we are doing the right thing, we have to double check because sometimes it may not be right and then we get bad consequences. We should always be aware of what we are doing so we know we are safe.

"In any moment of decision, the best thing you can do is the right thing."
-Theodore Roosevelt

What this quote is trying to say is that if you are ever in a situation where you have to decide what you're going to do, to always make the right decision. Its also saying that no matter what, the best thing to always do is "right." For example i had a friend who was into gang problems and one time they told him if he didn't fight some other guy he was going to get hit by the other gang members. He didn't know what to do because he was scared, but at the end he ended up not doing anything and he decided what was right for him and he left the gang and is now doing good.
