To me this quote is trying to say that you should never do something that is wrong and then try to feel good about it. It is impossible because if you know you did something wrong then yur going to feel bad about what youy did, you're not going to feel good or right about it. For example, lets say I'm doing bad in my classes and getting bad grades, I am not going to be proud of myself because of that, I am going to to feel bad because I know im not doing right.
