Psychiatrist

Duties and responsibilities:
A psychiatrist is a physician for the human mind. A lot of people are born with mental disorders that may make them depressed, stressed, or even crazy. A psychiatrists job is to help them fix their problems and keep them under control. They might use medication, surgery or even counseling sessions. They break the persons case into parts, examining it to find the root to the problem. They also may work in a lab researching these diseases to make more medicines, and try to find the causes of these mental illnesses. They could work in a hospital to help people who have been through traumatizing experiences. They talk to them so they can work them through it to prevent any further psychological damage. You might work in a private practice. This is how most psychiatrists work. This is where they work in small clinics were they do most of their counseling.

Salary: $90,000 - $200,000

Education:
In addition to completing the requirements for a degree in allopathic or osteopathic medicine,  psychiatrists must complete an intensive three year residency in psychiatry.

Reflection:

I think it will be good to become and psychiatrist because it looks like a good job to have. I think it is interesting house they can figure out the problems in mental disorders. I also like that they work by breaking down the problem.
